A bit about Me

My name is Jessica Cunningham, but you can call me Jess! I currently reside in Philadelphia, PA, where I was also born and raised. With a unique background rooted in ballet, I’ve always had a passion for creative expression.

After my time in performing arts, I transitioned to visual arts, beginning at the Art & Design program at Community College of Philadelphia, and then transferring to complete my B.F.A. in Illustration at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) in Baltimore, MD. During my time at MICA, I had the opportunity to intern with Running Press Book Publishers in Philadelphia, PA, as well Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia in New York, NY.

Since graduating, I have been working as a freelance designer in both in-house and remote settings with clients including Winter Water Factory, Martha Stewart, and Kate Spade, working in a variety of print design and product design projects.

I am actively expanding my print design practice, and would love the opportunity to embark on new projects. While I love my city, I’m open to relocation for the right opportunity.
